Your Coaches
Coach Dwayne Lopez grew up on the courts of the Nuʻuanu YMCA as a proud “Nuʻuanu Ball Boy.” Now, he returns to give back—bringing decades of coaching experience rooted in strong values, life lessons, and a deep love for the game.
Joining him is his son, Coach Trey—named after the three-point shot—who was coached by his dad through youth and club basketball. Coach Trey became a standout player, where the three-pointer became his signature.
Together, they’re offering a clinic where kids & teens can sharpen their skills, enjoy the game, and grow—both on and off the court.
